Hiking | Snowmass Colorado Things To Do

From beginner to expert, Snowmass has an extensive trail system with over 40 miles of scenic single track and roads to explore. The Elk Camp gondola now runs in summer seven days a week with the lift going to the top of the ridge Friday through Sunday delivering over 3,000 vertical feet of an unbeatable mountain network of trails. A five-acre terrain course offers downhill thrills, jumps and berms to test your skill level. Head to the Discovery Zone located at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall.

There is no better place to experience Colorado hiking than on Snowmass Mountain. Try a short hike on the Ditch Trail for an amazing view of the Snowmass Creek Valley or explore the KAR Trail from top of the Sam’s Knob Lift down to Burlingame Lift. The new Bear Claw Trail connects West Government and the Ditch Trail.
